The Slabway Shiatsu Foot & Leg Massager has been on the market for a very long time and most people are curious about whether it helps in improving blood circulation or not. The principal function of this machine is similar to that of other leg exercises on the market, and that is to reduce muscle pain in your foot muscles.
Many people have found the Slabway Shiatsu foot massage machine ideal for swollen feet and cramped muscle pain in the lower body. At the same time, many people have also criticized this machine for not providing the value it claims on the box. So, what’s the reality behind it. I thought to buy this machine and give it a try.
In this review, we’ll find out if Slabway Shiatsu Foot and Leg Massager is really worth buying or not.

Review of Slabway Shiatsu Foot & Leg Massager
We’ll start with the main features of this machine and then test each claim made by the manufacturer one by one.

Main Features
- Compact and easy to carry around
- Four different levels of intensity
- Pre-installed massage exercises
- Adjustable leg wraps
- Air compression
- Remote controlled
Design of Slabway Shiatsu Massager
As soon as you take this massager out of the box, it’ll give you a premium feel to it. It measures around 22”(L) x 12”(W) x 10”(H) and weighs around 16 pounds. And if we compare Slabway Shiatsu foot massager with some passive leg exercisers like the LegXercise Pro or Breo Foot Massager, then this one is a bit heavy.
For old people, this machine would be heavier to lift around the house. However, it is compact enough to fit in small spaces to exercise your feet. You can also take it with you to your office and put it under your desk to exercise.
Moreover, there are two different colours to choose from, Jet Black and Red. No matter which colour you choose, the features and performance would remain the same. It’s just about your preference at this point.
Massage Modes
Let’s talk about the massage modes of the Slabway Shiatsu Massager. It comes with Rolling, Pulsing, and Kneading massage modes. There are three different ways through which you can massage your feet.

I used to hang out in shoes all day long, so I thought of trying the Pulsing Mode on this machine to see if it actually helps me in relaxing my feet before I go to bed.
After massaging my feet for 15 minutes, I turned it off and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning, my feet were feeling much more relaxed I might say. It didn’t felt like as if I was walking the previous day in my shoes.
Usually, when I wake up in the morning, I always rub my feet to get rid of stiffness. But after using this massage machine, my feet were feeling much better.
One of my friends usually complains about foot cramps, so I thought to test Slabway Shiatsu massager on her feet. I told her to go with the Kneading Mode one day and then switch to Rolling Mode the next day.

After a week she told me that the “Kneading” mode worked out well for her as compared to the “Rolling” mode. She said that massaging her feet for one week with Slabway Shiatsu foot massager has given her much relief.
Wrapping up, the massage modes on this machine really help you in moving all parts of your feet (heel, arch, toes, and sides). By doing so, there is a maximum flow of blood through your feet which helps in getting rid of pain and cramps.
Intensity Levels
Just like other passive leg exerciser machines, you’ll find different levels of intensity on this machine to massage your feet. Slabway lets you choose between four different speed levels to exercise your feet.
While testing this machine, I limited the machine to P1 (first speed level) only. Massaging your feet gently is more effective in the longer run. However, if you need more speed, then you can select the P4 button on the machine.
Also, there’s an “Auto” button on this massager to adjust the speed automatically, which I don’t advise. It’s because the machine does not knows what level of pain you have in your feet. Therefore, changing intensity levels can cause more pain than relief.
I would recommend you to start from the “P1” intensity level and then move up as you feel comfortable with it.

There’s a button to adjust the amount of heat you need to massage your feet. For people with sensitive skin, I’ll advise keeping the heat intensity as low as possible. Although maximum heat intensity on this machine is bearable, let’s be on the safe side and start from the lowest.
There are myths about increasing the heat level to get instant relief from pain, which is totally wrong. Always massage with the intensity at which your feet are comfortable.
Overall, it’s a great convenience that you can shift between Auto and Manual mode on this machine. People who are suffering from foot stiffness due to long hours of travel can use this massager in Auto Mode. But if you frequently suffer from Swollen feet or foot cramps, then I’ll advise going with Manual Mode.
Remote Control
There’s a remote control through which you can adjust and take care of all the features on the Slabway Shiatsu massager. But it doesn’t make any sense to use a remote control with this massage machine when you are already sitting on top of it.
To me, the remote control looks useless when you are so close to the machine to interact with its features. However, there’s one way the remote control could come in handy, and that’s only when one of the physical buttons on the machine is not working.
Verdict – Should You Go With Slabway Shiatsu Foot & Leg Massager or Not
To me, this foot massager really worked out and it helped me get instant relief from foot stiffness and cramps. If you are suffering from foot pain that goes away with a massager, then yes Slabway Shiatsu massager would work for you as well. However, if you are suffering from pain that needs to be addressed by a physician, then you’ll waste your money on buying this machine.
